Stonehenge is the most famous and complete megalithic site in the world - considered by many - and depicted by Turner - as a condenser of elemental energy.

The massive stone trilithons form a circular temple of awe-inspiring power which attracts pilgrims from all corners of the world.

Dowsers claim that a straight and powerful ley runs from Stonehenge, through Old Sarum and Salisbury Cathedral to Clearbury Ring.

Stonehenge, along with Woodhenge forms part of the sacred landscape, with the even greater stone circle at Avebury a little further west, as also are Silbury Hill and West Kennet Longbarrow in the heart of crop circle country.
