Cypresses Chauves: Le Courant d'Huchet

Le Courant d'Huchet is a magical water wonderland, peopled by les Cypresses Chauves (Taxodium distichum) of Louisiana whose aerial roots (pneumatophores) look like processions of fairies enjoying a day on the riverbank.

From le Pont de Pechelebe follow the track which follows the river through the woods. In summer it is possible to visit in flat-bottomed boats.
