Pilgrims travel from all parts of the world to visit Chartres Cathedral in France which is renowned for it's black madonnas / vierges noires, for it's gothic architecture and
medieval statues of saints, demons and angels as well as for it's remarkable stained glass and for the huge labyrinth which is set into the paving slabs of the nave.
It was here that Hamish Miller and Paul Broadhurst met with Régor Mouguet during their research for The Dance of the Dragon, to discover more of the vouivre / dragon
energy as it courses across Europe. For just as The St Michael ley traverses England as described in The Sun and the Serpent - so the vouivre traverses Europe. Selected Bibliography:
