Laveyssière

The pilgrimage to Notre Dame de Laveyssière takes place on September 8th, and attracts many pilgrims who come to venerate " La Bambina ", the unique figure of a swaddled infant which is believed to represent the Madonna / Virgin Mary as a child.

The healing spring is of great repute, and when we visited for the pilgrimage in 2004 there was a pilgrim present who had been miraculously healed of a life-threatening disease during the course of the pilgrimage in 2003.
