Logan Stones
Logan stones are massive rocking stones, generally atop a rocky tor or outcrop. Some notable examples such as those to be found at Roughtor and Helman Tor in Cornwall, England, have depressions sculpted in them where a person may sit. Many legends surround logans, which by their very nature are always situated at places of great power. It has been suggested that the piezo electric effect produced when the stone is set in motion may energise the telluric energy of the surroundings. Some therefore consider logan stones to be situated at chakra or accupuncture points of the Earth.
