Dolmen de St Fort sur le Ne  The massive dolmen de Fort sur le Ne is surrounded by vines 20km south of Cognac in the Charente-Maritime, western France. The name Saint Fort sur le Ne would seem to suggest that our ancestors considered this to be a place of considerable power. The Way of St James / Chemin St Jacques passes through nearby Pons.
