Dragons
Dragons are likely to appear at any time - as telluric energy at places of power, or in stained glass or stone in churches and sacred sites. "Killing the dragon is a feat attributed to many gods, saints and heroes, and it occurs as a symbol in the language of alchemy, from which the christian symbol of St Michael and the dragon was developed. In such a context it signifies the purification of theearth spirit, and the removal of its serpent venom by means of a pole or pillar planted in the ground and serving as an instrument of cosmic and terrestrial forces."
